The report is divided into three sections: the findings from our first Exploration Survey with commentary and analysis from other leading providers of exploration research; a technology review; a ranking of top intercepts released in 2021, maiden resource publications, and then technical profiles of the 10 most distinguished recent success stories.

The survey of our global audience of mining professionals garnered 172 responses to a series of questions designed to test industry views on exploration-specific issues.

The Technology & Techniques chapters reviewed different technologies and consultancies to present a library of the most relevant tools explorers need to understand to give themselves the best chance of discovery.

Our research partners RSC used their inhouse algorithm and extensive exploration database to provide us with what they consider the most valuable intercepts, alongside Initial Resource Estimates published in 2021.
